Happy New Year from the Turners!
TURNER END OF THE YEAR UPDATE
(Countdown: 24 Days

Since we announced our plans to join To Every Tribe, we have been so overwhelmed by the tremendous support from our family, friends, and church.  From the littlest VBS kids that cheered us on to our elder body that with tears of joy told us, “Of course, GO!”  We are so grateful for Oak Ridge Reformed Baptist.  I have now preached my last sermon as a pastor there, and even had the immense joy of baptizing Amber Kemper the same Sunday. Jessica and I have spent a cumulative 25 years at this church.  These brothers and sisters in Christ have loved us so well and we will miss them all so deeply.
"The mark of a great church is not its seating capacity, but its sending capacity.” — Mike Stachura

I have now shot my last Film the Day Productions wedding and am busy tackling my remaining edits.  This business has been a blessing from God from beginning to end.  I am so grateful for the skills, equipment, and relationships I gained that will be a huge part of my ministry at To Every Tribe going forward, and for my business partner's support and willingness to take the reigns moving forward.
“He is no fool who give up that which he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.” — Jim Elliot

Almost immediately after we announced our move, God provided an anonymous gift that more than covered all of Lydia's existing medical bills.  Praise the Lord!!  As for our monthly financial needs, “we’re halfway there and living on a prayer!”  Don't let Bon Jovi fool you though.  Living on a prayer is a great place to be because God is good, and real, and in control!  We have just crossed the halfway mark and we are moving forward with our plans to move next month, prayerfully trusting that God will supply all of our needs.  If you would like to partner with us financially in our work at To Every Tribe, please do so at SupportTheTurners.com.
“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” — Philippians 1:3-5

There is so much more to say, but we want to conclude with just one more exciting update.  We are so thrilled to announce that God has given us another little Turner coming August 2015 to a Texas border town near you!
“The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

We would love to grab a cup of coffee or a bite to eat with you in the next 24 days!  Give us a call, text, email, FB message, or smoke signal and let's set something up!

Thank YOU for your prayer and support!

This is my first published video with To Every Tribe. This is at their "Burial Form Signing Ceremony" in which the missionary trainees acknowledge that getting the gospel to the nations may cost them their lives, but that Jesus is worth it.

Here is the story of what God is doing in our lives:

Long Story Short:

God is doing something BIG in our lives!
We want to tell you about it and ask you to be a part of it with us.

Since before we got married, We have wanted to be involved in bringing the gospel to parts of the world where Jesus is not known or worshipped. Our initial plan was to go to an unreached third-world context ourselves, but our children’s health has prevented us from doing so. Until recently that was something we have been discouraged about, but God had a bigger plan in mind for us.

God has blessed us with a video production business and I have wondered from the beginning if God might one day use it for missions. Recently, we have been more intentionally praying about that becoming a present reality rather than a far off dream.

Well God is real and He answers the prayers of His people! Recently, To EveryTribe, a ministry out of Los Frensos, TX, with whom I went to Papua New Guinea several years ago, contacted me because they are looking for a full-time videographer and production developer! Their mission statement is as follows:

“To Every Tribe exists to extend the worship of Christ among all peoples by mobilizing the church, training disciplemakers, and sending missionary teams to plant churches among the unreached.”

They have asked me to be a part of their ministry, making videos for them full-time to more effectively accomplish each part of their mission statement. There is no missions agency I love and see eye-to-eye with more in vision, doctrine, method, and passion than To Every Tribe and I am ecstatic about the way God answered our prayers “far greater than we can ask or think.” (Eph 3:20)

As of June 1st, I am on staff with them and Lord-willing, we will fully transition to Los Fresnos by January of 2015 to spend our lives in the work of mobilizing, training, sending, and church-planting for the glory of Christ and the joy and salvation of His people among the nations. In order for that to happen, we need you!
  1. Pray for us. God works through prayer, and we want you to partner with us in prayer that God would use our work to reach the nations.
  2. This position is 100% support-based, so in order for us to be able to begin full-time in January, we need people to partner with us financially. Please prayerfully consider giving toward our work with To Every Tribe for the glory of God among the nations.

We love you guys, and thank you for being a part of this with us!

If you want to learn more, call, text, or email us. Let's grab a cup of coffee and talk!

Soli Deo Gloria,
Randy, Jessica, Lydia, and Jenna Turner.
